Create the groups that members can register for
To be able to set up a required payment for these groups, it is important that you select the group type "Team".
You can create the groups under a new sport in Hoopit, or add the groups under the sport they belong to. If this is a registration that includes external members, you can set the group as external so they do not receive membership fees and are not registered with NIF (see how here).
Set up any athlete limits and waiting lists
You can set a limit per group and enable a waiting list when the limit is reached. See more information here: Setting maximum number of athletes in a group. Go to Groups > Settings and select the relevant group in the group selector.Create the payment for the groups
You can now create a training fee for these groups. Remember to check the setting that new players must pay to register for the group. The payment will then be mandatory upon registration.
Registration will be open when the training fee is published and the period is active. See more about how you create a training fee here.
Share the registration link
Registration is now possible when the training fee is published and its period is active. You can now share the registration link for the entire club or the main group of the activity for registration.

How does the waiting list work? | Users will be placed on the waiting list chronologically based on when they joined the waiting list. When a user is offered a spot in the group, they have 24 hours to pay to confirm their spot. After 24 hours, the next person on the waiting list will be offered the spot. |
How does the payment requirement for registration work? | Users who register have 15 minutes to complete the payment of the training fee. If they do not pay by the deadline, they will lose their spot and be removed from the group they registered for. |
