Hoopit uses the digital payment service Stripe to process payments. Hoopit does not store any customer card information, but forwards it to Stripe through an encrypted channel to maintain security. You can read more about Stripe here.

For sports clubs, the payment solution in Hoopit is very easy to use, and you don't have to deal with invoice software. Those who pay enter their credit card in Hoopit, and from there it's quick and easy to pay for activities and fees.

Members will get a simple overview on their phone of payments to be made. When a payment has been processed, a receipt will be sent immediately by email, and the payment will disappear from the Inbox.

To reduce the number of receipts to the club, Stripe collects payments throughout the week or month according to their preference and deposits the total amount into the club/team account. When the money arrives in their account, the associated receipts can be found under Payouts in the finance dashboard.

Please note that payments must be made at least 5 days before the payout date to be included in the payouts to the club/team. If a team needs to use the money immediately, it is therefore important to set an earlier payment deadline to ensure that the money arrives in the account in time.
