As a leader in a club, or on a team, you will be added with a title. Essentially, a title is for clarity purposes, so you know who does what in the group. In other words, if you are added to a group as a coach, team leader, or Hoopit coordinator, the access will be the same regardless.
There are two titles that grant additional access:
Finance Manager: This title grants access to the finance section of Hoopit. What access it provides is determined by whether you are the finance manager for the entire club, one or more sports, or if you are added as a finance manager for a team. Read about the access it provides in this article.
Police Certificate Coordinator: This title grants access to police certificates, so the club has full control over who has submitted a certificate. This title only exists in the group at the top level of the club. According to NIF regulations, a minimum of one person must have this responsibility, and a maximum of three people can have it.
Do you want a different title than what is currently set up? Contact support and we will create the title you want.
Communication Groups
Although titles on a team do not necessarily grant additional access, the title can trigger membership in a communication group. For example, most clubs have a communication group for coaches, so the coach title in all teams in a sport ends up in a group often called "Coaches in football/handball/etc.". This then functions as a coach forum in the given sport.
If you want such a communication group for another title, just contact Hoopit Support and we will set this up. It is often useful to have a group for volunteer coordinators, tournament coordinators, etc.
