Manage the club's and teams' bank accounts

Manage the club's bank accounts under "Finance". As the finance manager, you can control which groups have access to the different accounts. Note that you must be a finance manager at the club or sports level to make changes.

1. How to find the overview

You can find the overview of bank accounts by navigating in the left menu:

  • Click on Finance

  • Then select Bank accounts

When you have selected "Bank accounts", you will come to the main overview. Here you can see all active accounts, account numbers, and how many groups the account is enabled for.

2. Add a new bank account and enable subgroups

When you add a new account, you can now decide whether it should be available to all underlying levels in the organization at once.

  1. Click the red button + Add bank account.

  2. Select which main group the account belongs to.

  3. Enter the Account name and Bank account number.

  4. Enable for subgroups: By checking the box (see red arrow), you automatically allow all underlying teams and groups to use this account to collect money from payments.

3. Granular control of subgroups

If you want to adjust access later, or only give access to selected subgroups, you can control this granularly:

  • Click into the specific account from the overview (Image 2).

  • Under the Groups tab you will see a complete list of the club's structure.

  • Can use account: Use the toggle to turn access on or off for specific teams (e.g. only for "Facilities group" or "Bandy").

  • Available for all subgroups: Here you control whether access should be inherited automatically to new subgroups that are created.

4. Archiving and changes

In the top right corner of the selected account (see Image 4) you will find buttons to:

  • Archive bank account: Used if the account should no longer be active, but you want to keep the history.

  • Change account name: To update the label of the account in the system.

💡 Tip: If a team should collect money for their own team fund, you should make sure that only that specific team is enabled with the "Can use account" toggle. For shared expenses such as membership fees, an account that is enabled for the entire club is typically used.
