Member Status NIF

Wondering what the different statuses members can have in NIF mean and what is required to get them confirmed? See here!

NIF will make a number of updates over the coming months that will simplify registration for users and in many cases will remove the need for verification email from NIF.

All members must verify their user in NIF. This verification is necessary for members to become active in the correct branches in NIF and for the club to, for example, be able to create licenses for the player in SA. In this article we will explain the different statuses a member can have in Hoopit.

The member's user in Hoopit is linked to the member's user in NIF (MinIdrett). When this link is active, we will be able to synchronize member data to NIF directly.

The different statuses are:

1. Confirmed

The user is verified in NIF and everything is in order.

2. Not registered

The user in Hoopit is linked to a user in NIF, but this user in NIF does not have an active membership in the club. This can be resolved by sending them a new reminder to confirm their membership in NIF. They will then receive an email as in Step 3 in user registration.

3. Not connected

The member has not yet linked their user in Hoopit to NIF. This can be done by completing the steps in the article about Registration in NIF.
