Transition to a New Year or Season

New age group for teams
We recommend that you use birth year in the team name, possibly in combination with age (for example J-2005 (Girls-14)). If you use age, you must remember to change the name when a new year or season starts. By using birth year, you don't need to make any changes.

Merging teams and new teams with multiple age groups
Over time, it may be natural to merge age groups. To avoid losing the history from previous teams, we suggest that you keep all the existing teams, and additionally add them to the new merged team. This means that you create a new team for merging each year, or update the existing ones (remove those who don't belong in the merged team and add the new ones).

New data from football and other sports
Remember that you must update the teams to get the correct data for the new season.

If the teams have a team account, you must remember to update or add this when you create new teams.
